The ring grips the pot under its top rim, and three braided cords carry the load. Tested to 4 kg, which is a 16 cm pot full of damp soil. The cord is supplied; the ceiling fixing is not.

Common questions
How much weight does it take?
4 kg tested, which is a 16 cm pot full of damp soil. Beyond that, tell us and we thicken the walls.
Is the ceiling fixing supplied?
No. A hook and cavity anchor chosen for your own ceiling is safer than anything we could supply blind.
Will it survive a sunny conservatory?
In PETG it will eventually dull in full south-facing sun. We print it in ASA instead, at no meaningful extra cost.
