Given the size of the business and the nature of the processing, appointing a data protection officer is not required.

Data collected and purposes

Quotation or contact request — surname, first name, email, optional telephone, company name and registration number for businesses, message, and any 3D file. Purpose: answering the request and fulfilling the order. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Invoicing — identity, address, amounts. Purpose: accounting and tax obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Audience measurement and business identification — with your consent, Google Analytics measures site usage and Visable Website Leads helps identify visiting businesses for B2B prospecting. These tools may process IP addresses and browsing data, which may constitute personal data. They remain disabled before your agreement.

Calculator results are estimates. File transfer requires an explicit action and your agreement. The workshop checks feasibility, files, options and the total price before issuing an approved quotation. Payment is offered only after this review and your acceptance of the quotation and terms.

Newsletter — e-mail address, language, date and page of sign-up. Purpose: sending you news from the workshop a few times a year. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form; you withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link in every mailing or by writing to support@sansil3d.fr. Retention: until you unsubscribe. The list is kept in Google Drive, with no other recipient.

Your files remain your property. They are used to assess your request and fulfil your order, and are not resold, published or reused for another customer. Following your explicit action and agreement to the transfer, they may be processed by the technical providers needed to store and handle your request, as described in the privacy policy. You can request deletion at support@sansil3d.fr; statutory retention obligations still apply. A confidentiality agreement may be requested before sending.

Retention periods

Prospects with no follow-up: 3 years from last contact.

Customers: duration of the commercial relationship, then 3 years.

Accounting records and invoices: 10 years, under article L.123-22 of the French Commercial Code.

Customer 3D files: deleted on request at any time, and at the latest 3 years after the last order.

Recipients and processors

SANSIL 3D does not sell or rent your data. Providers needed for the services below may process them for the relevant purpose.

Netlify hosts the site and server functions. Requests and technical logs may include IP addresses and information required for security and processing requests.

Google — only if you choose to post a review on our Google Business Profile listing. That step is yours alone and falls under Google's own privacy policy.

Google (Gmail) — hosts our business mailbox and therefore holds the correspondence you have with us.

Google Drive or the object storage configured by the workshop stores the files you choose to submit with your request. These providers perform the storage and processing needed for that request.

SumUp — online card payment when you pay for an order from the quote. The card number is entered on SumUp's secure page, never on our site: we only receive the payment confirmation, the amount and the order reference.

Website assistant: Gemini and the workshop’s AI — When you send a question, recent conversation messages and the current page are sent to our server function to prepare an answer from the website’s public information. Google Gemini is used first. If its quota is reached or it is unavailable, the protected relay may send the request to an Ollama model running on the workshop’s computer. The relay connection uses Cloudflare Tunnel when enabled. If both engines are unavailable, a search through the website’s information remains available in your browser. Widget history stays in memory while the page is open; the local relay does not record messages. Avoid personal or confidential information. Google processing is governed by the Gemini API terms. Assistant answers are indicative and do not replace a quote confirmed by the workshop.

Google Analytics and Visable Website Leads receive the browsing data needed for the purposes described above, only when you have accepted these tools in the consent banner.

Carriers — Mondial Relay and Chronopost, depending on the shipping method chosen in the quote; another carrier may be used for a particular destination or format. They receive only what delivery requires: name, postal address, and where applicable a telephone number or email for parcel tracking.

Netlify Blobs stores approved quotations, orders, acceptance of terms, processing states and invoices needed to track orders and payments. Card details are processed by SumUp.

Objecting to company identification

You can decline these tools or withdraw your agreement at any time without restricting site features. Open your preferences using the button below or “Cookie preferences” in the footer, then choose “Decline”. Withdrawal stops these tools from loading when the page reloads.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data (articles 15 to 22 GDPR).

To exercise them, write to support@sansil3d.fr. You will receive a reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested where there is reasonable doubt as to who you are.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority: CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — cnil.fr. You may also complain to the supervisory authority of your own country of residence.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Forms are protected against automated submissions without resorting to a third-party captcha service, which avoids one more transfer of data.

Files required for orders may be stored in private workshop and storage-provider spaces, accessible to authorised people. Contact support@sansil3d.fr for access or deletion requests; legal retention obligations still apply.
