Once you own several batteries, two problems arrive together: they knock against each other in the bag, and you lose track of which is full. A tray with individual compartments solves both — each pack has its place, and an engraved mark lets you rotate them in order. We build the tray to the footprint of your case and the dimensions of your packs. One thing you should know, and it matters: this tray stores and separates, it does not contain a fire. A lithium cell in thermal runaway is not stopped by plastic, whatever it is. Keep a bag or box made for that — we organise, we do not make safe.
To the footprint of your case, ~120 g. PETG, the tough everyday material for objects that get used.
Another material is possible. Tell us where the object will live and what it has to put up with — heat, sunlight, impact, damp — and we will suggest one.
No, and no printed plastic truly is. This tray stores and separates. For fire risk, use a bag or box designed for it. We would rather say so than let you believe otherwise.
A photo of the bottom of your case with a tape measure across it, plus the dimensions of one pack.
The file stays yours. A compartment module is remade on its own, without redoing the whole tray.
PETG: rigid, stable, unaffected by damp, and it will not warp in a car boot in the sun the way PLA would.
