PAHT-CF — High-temperature carbon-fibre polyamide
The technical nylon that does not drink water: stable even in damp air.
Use it for
- Parts fitted outdoors, in a damp workshop or a marine environment
- Sensor mounts and assembly parts that must hold their dimension
- Elements near a heat source up to 130 °C
What it will not do
- Three times the price of PETG: only worth it if the load demands it
- Matt, slightly rough surface — not a cosmetic material
- Black only

What we have learned using it
A lot of enquiries come in asking for PAHT-CF when PETG is more than enough. We say so: an over-specified part has never won anyone's loyalty.
