PET-CF — Carbon-fibre reinforced PET
The stiffness of carbon nylon, without its sensitivity to moisture.
Use it for
- Jigs and fixtures that must hold their dimension for months
- Parts in contact with oils, greases and workshop products
- Rigid brackets under permanent load up to 130 °C
What it will not do
- Three times the price of PETG: only worth it if the load demands it
- Matt, slightly rough surface — not a cosmetic material
- Black only

What we have learned using it
A lot of enquiries come in asking for PET-CF when PETG is more than enough. We say so: an over-specified part has never won anyone's loyalty.
