Material

TPU — Thermoplastic polyurethane

Rubber-like flexibility. Nothing else does this job.

Use it for

  • Seals, dampers, anti-vibration mounts
  • Impact protection, non-slip pads
  • Robot gripper fingers, where you need to hold without marking

What it will not do

  • Slow to print, so more machine time for the same volume
  • Will not hold a tight tolerance: the part deforms as you measure it
  • Few colours

What we have learned using it

Three hardnesses in stock: 95A (the standard), 90A (softer) and 85A (close to a rubber). The instant quote offers them separately. Tell us whether you want something that squashes like a rubber or that only flexes a little: it changes which material we use, not just a setting.

Consider instead

  • PETG — if a little flex is enough

Names are the manufacturer's own and serve as the ordering reference. The colour runs through the material, it is not painted on — swatches are indicative, a physical sample prevails.

Values measured by the filament manufacturer on standardised specimens. A printed part will differ with orientation, infill and settings: we validate on a test part on request.

Technical data sheets (TDS) from the filament manufacturer, Bambu Lab, in English, as published on its store on 6 September 2026: mechanical and thermal properties measured on specimens, drying and printing conditions. It is the document to attach to a technical file; we also send it with the order on request.
