Battery retaining block. Designed as the part that holds a cell in place and insulates it, it leaves the workshop as a one-off just as readily as in a short run.
You do not need a 3D file to order. A dimensioned drawing, a photograph taken square-on with a ruler beside the part, or the broken part sent to us by post is enough: we rebuild the geometry and submit the file to you before anything is manufactured.
The three materials we recommend for this part. PETG, our default choice: the default functional choice. Holds to 70 °C, flexible enough to take a knock without snapping, and it does not crack the way PLA does. ABS: the first real thermal step, 90 °C. It is also the material that sands and glues best when the part has to be finished after printing. PC-FR: polycarbonate rated UL94 V-0 for flammability. The choice as soon as the part enters a fire-rated application.
Envelope up to 350 × 350 × 350 mm, quantities from 1 to several hundred, precision matched to what the part has to do rather than to a commercial standard. All twenty workshop materials remain available for this part, from PLA to carbon-filled PPS rated at 200 °C: if your constraint differs from the one we assumed, tell us and we change material without changing the starting price.
Why work with us. Short lead time, made in France. Workshop in Morsang-sur-Orge, near Paris. Firm quotation within 24 working hours, and every part inspected before dispatch. No tooling, no minimum order. Injection moulding needs a mould costing thousands of euros, paid back over tens of thousands of parts. Here there is no mould. One part costs one part. Order 1 unit or 500, the price hides no set-up fee. 20 materials, from PLA to carbon-filled PPS. From decorative work to parts that hold 200 °C, everything is produced in the same workshop. You do not have to change supplier when the requirement turns technical.
Your part, to your dimensions. Send us your 3D file, a dimensioned drawing, a photograph, or simply the part to be copied: we reproduce it faithfully or adapt it, from a single unit, with no tooling cost at all. The images on this page show typical work and are not contractual.
