What it will not do
- Three times the price of PETG: only worth it if the load demands it
- Matt, slightly rough surface — not a cosmetic material

What we have learned using it
A lot of enquiries come in asking for ASA-Aero when PETG is more than enough. We say so: an over-specified part has never won anyone's loyalty.

Names are the manufacturer's own and serve as the ordering reference. The colour runs through the material, it is not painted on — swatches are indicative, a physical sample prevails.

Technical data sheet (TDS) from the filament manufacturer, Bambu Lab, in English, as published on its store on 6 September 2026: mechanical and thermal properties measured on specimens, drying and printing conditions. It is the document to attach to a technical file; we also send it with the order on request.
